Import products

After you import products, the AI can recommend real items and answer questions about price and stock.

After importing products, when a customer asks something like “Do you have a dive watch under $400?”, the AI will pick suitable options from your products and display product cards (image, price, link) in the chat window. The AI uses only the data here to answer price and stock questions, and will not make it up.

Import with CSV

  1. Open the Products page and click CSV template to download the template.
  2. Fill in the template: External ID, name, description, category, price, currency, stock, product link, image link. The last few columns in the template are custom attributes (for example, material and size); you can rename the columns as needed.
  3. Click Import products to upload.

External ID is the product ID in your system. When you import again, existing products are updated by external ID, so no duplicate products are created.

Leave stock blank to indicate that stock is not tracked; unavailable products will not be recommended.

Sync with the Open API

If you have many products or products change frequently, we recommend having your developer sync them regularly with the Open API; see Knowledge base and product API.

Shopify stores

For stores that install Yinke from Shopify, products are synced automatically; no manual import is needed.
