Quick Start
From signing up to seeing AI customer service live on your website takes about 30 minutes.
Yinke is AI customer service for online stores: give it your FAQs, policies and products, and it will answer questions around the clock in your customers' language, recommend products and look up orders — and hand anything it can't handle over to your team.
Complete the five steps below and you'll have a working AI customer service on your website.
1. Create an account
Click "Start for free" on our website, then sign up with your email and verify it. The free plan is activated automatically after sign-up — no credit card required.
2. Tell the AI about your store
Open "Knowledge Base" in the dashboard and start with the things customers ask about most:
- Q&A: Add the questions customers ask most often along with the standard answers — for example, shipping times, shipping fees, and return and exchange rules.
- Documents: Upload or paste shipping policies, after-sales terms, size charts and similar documents.
- Web pages: Just enter the URLs of your help center or policy pages and we'll crawl the content.
The more specific your materials, the more accurate the answers. The AI answers only based on these materials; when it can't find an answer, it will honestly say it doesn't know rather than making something up.
3. Import products (optional)
If you want the AI to recommend products and answer questions about prices and stock, go to the "Products" page, download the CSV template, fill it in and import it. You can also sync products from your own system via the Open API.
4. Try a test chat
On the "Test Chat" page, ask questions as if you were a customer and see whether the answers are accurate. Where an answer falls short, go back to the knowledge base and add or rewrite the material.
5. Put it on your website
Go to the "Install" page, copy the one-line code and paste it before the </body> tag on every page of your website — a chat button will then appear in the bottom right corner. Before going live, remember to register the domains allowed to embed the widget on the same page.
For detailed steps, see Installing the chat widget on your website.
What's next
- Change the bot's name, welcome message and tone in "Bot Settings".
- Turn on human handover so your team can take over from the AI on the "Conversations" page when it can't help.
- Check "Unanswered questions" regularly and add the questions the AI couldn't answer to your knowledge base.
